Why Consistency is your skin's superpower

We live in a culture that gives us everything we want; instantly and that’s what we want from our skincare; instant results. But the truth is, no matter how amazing our products are, we won’t reap the benefits if we don’t use them consistently over time. Here’s 4 reasons  why:

#1  Most skincare products start working the moment they hit your face — but it may take a while to actually see results. This is due to the nature of our skin cycle: since it takes about a month for new skin cells to form, push to the surface, and slough off, it makes sense that you need to wait at least that long to see any changes show up.
When you maintain a consistent skin care routine, your skin cells turn over faster so you’ll have fresh, new skin at the surface which will allow your skin care products to penetrate and work much better.

#2  Your Skin is still turning over. . . Because you’re renewing and replacing skin cells constantly every day, the products you used yesterday aren’t having an effect -yet. You shed 30,000 to 40,000 skin cells per hour and you may have cleansed and moisturized them in the morning but they’re now dust. Applying your products every day will ensure that you’re covered over time.

#3  Prevention is easier than Treatment. Keeping your skin healthy through routine skincare is simpler than trying to treat the problems that may arise from neglecting your complexion plus, it will probably save you time and money in the long run.

#4  Everyone’s skin is unique. You may know someone with beautiful skin that doesn’t have a skincare routine but unfortunately that’s not reality for most of us. Lucky for those that have great DNA. What works for some people won’t necessarily work for your skin. Different skin types, lifestyles and over-all health can affect each person in a different way, which explains why our skin’s maintenance level is not the same but- you can keep it simple. Our philosophy is that “less is more”, choosing a product that you will actually use consistently will pay off in the long run

🤍There really are no short-cuts. You can’t ignore your skin for years and then try to make up for it by using lots of active products in a short period of time. It takes time to reap the benefits of skincare, and nothing beats consistency. Using the best skincare in the world won’t really matter if you don’t use it properly and consistently . . .
