4 Performancing-enhancing Skincare tips

APPLY TO JUST-WASHED SKIN  Damp skin like a sponge, quickly absorbs whatever comes it's way.  When your skin is hydrated and plumped up - after cleansing or a shower - ingredients penetrate more easily into and between cells which is especially important when you're using products that need to work their way down into the slightly deeper layers of the skin to do things like stimulate collagen.
 
EXFOLIATE FIRST  Think of the surface of the skin- those dead cells - as a barrier.  Basic cleansers and toners do a good job of removing dirt and oil, but to truly increase your skincare's absorption, you'll need an exfoliator.  Choose between an enzyme peel (like Biological Peel)  or a grainy scrub  (like  Parfait Scrub)  Exfoliating 2 - 3 times/week enhances the penetration of moisturizers and other skin care products.

 
FOLLOW the RIGHT ORDER Skincare products should be applied in order of density. Layer products from the thinnest (serums) to the thickest (sunscreen). Whatever goes on first, penetrates best.  If you're using 2 products for 2 different issues, apply one to bare skin in the morning and the other to bare skin at night so you're guaranteed to get 100% efficacy from both.  e.g. If you're treating pigmentation (dark spots) and fine lines you can apply a firming/lifting serum followed by moisturizer in the morning and then at night use a lightening serum plus moisturizer.
